Info-epidemiology, Social Media, Public Attitudes and Vaccine Hesitancy

This research project investigates public attitudes towards various aspects of COVID-19 in social media, such as social distancing, racism and vaccination. The study uses natural language processing and machine learning techniques such as topic modeling and sentiment analysis. The findings could inform public health agencies to design and implement interventions to get closer to the goal of ending the pandemic.
